SFP (small form-factor pluggable): An electrical interface is specified by a multi-source agreement (MSA). It interfaces a network device motherboard (for a switch, router, media converter or similar device) to a fiber optic or copper networking cable. Due to its smaller size, SFP obsolesces the formerly ubiquitous gigabit interface converter (GBIC).
SFP is a compact, hot-pluggable transceiver used for both telecommunication and data communications applications. It is a popular industry format jointly developed and supported by many network component vendors. SFP transceivers are designed to support SONET, gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and other communications standards.
Myson SFP module is compliant with SFF-8472, it supports DMM (Digital Diagnostic Monitor) and can detect and report the key parameters of SFP
The monitored Parameters: Module internal temperature, receiver supply voltage(Vcc), laser bias current, transmitter output power and Received power
Myson provides the services on production software support and module design customization.
The key features of Myson’s SFP module:
Single 3.3V supply with on chip regulator
Double LC optic interface
Support hot plug
Two level password protection for A0/A2 access
Programmable TX enable/disable function
